China Horizons (DWARC), EuroHub4Sino, and ReConnect China are three Horizon Europe projects focusing on research on contemporary China. To maximise synergies, the three consortia formed the “China cluster” and engage in joint activities where possible.

China Horizons
Building a multidisciplinary analytical framework for understanding a multifaceted China under the Xi presidency, this project aims to explain and predict social, political, economic, and foreign policy changes in China.
EuroHub4Sino
EuroHub4Sino is a project that, similarly to China Horizons, is funded under the Horizon Europe programme. EuroHub4Sino brings together some of the best researchers in Europe to foster independent European knowledge on China as well as high-level experts on AI and Big Data to develop an enhanced digital platform to support researchers and other stakeholders. Besides engaging in quality policy research and analysis, EuroHub4Sino aims to develop an enhanced digital platform to support European China experts’ research, collaboration and communication activities.
